There are three lakes located within the Association. The "Main" lake (Lake Lorelei) in 197 acres of waters. The two smaller lakes are Lake Fichtelberg (9 acres) and Lake Grunewald (3 acres).
Watercraft used on the lake are required to be registered with ODNR and the Assocation. Lot numbers along with the proper registration decals are required to be displayed. The Association has watercraft operating rules (see LLPOA Rules under the Governing Documents tab). ODNR laws also apply on Lake Lorelei waterways.
There is a 26.00-foot limit on pontoon boats and 20.00-foot limit on all other boats, including but not limited to; runabouts, wake boats, fishing boats, etc.
The coves and smaller lakes are No Wake zones, as seen on the adjacent map.
From time to time, lake conditions can change for safety purposes. Please pay attention to the flag condition before operating on the lake. Two flags are posted at all times. The first is at the Maria/Boat Launch, and the second is at the North end of the Main Beach. Flag conditions are:
Green: Normal condition- normal boating rules apply.
Yellow: high or low water level- no watercraft may operate beyond a no wake speed.
Red: watercraft is not permitted to operate on the lake.
